LONDON (Alliance News) - Housebuilding and construction group Galliford Try PLC said Thursday that its Partnerships business has been appointed to two new significant affordable housing contracts and two new housing frameworks.
Partnerships has been contracted to build an GBP45 million eighth extra care village at Hughenden Valley in High Wycombe, and it has been chosen by Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust for a new GBP16 million home-development scheme at Jarvis Road, in the north of Birmingham.
Additionally, it has been appointed to North Yorkshire County Council's Extra Care Housing Programme Framework, and is amongst the contracts selected for the Hyde Housing Group Main Contractor Framework Agreement.
"Our Partnerships business is rapidly turning into a real success story and these latest contracts demonstrate the trust that clients have in Partnerships to deliver the homes they need across a range of different housing types and tenures," said Chief Executive Peter Truscott in a statement.
Shares in Galliford Try were up 0.3% at 1,420.00 pence Thursday morning.
