Galliford Try Wins Places On Two UK Ministry Of Defence Frameworks

23rd Dec 2015 07:29

LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction and housebuilding group Galliford Try PLC on Wednesday said its building arm has won places on two UK government frameworks under the Ministry of Defence's Next Generation Estates programme.

The frameworks cover the South West and South East regions of England and will be worth up to GBP1.1 billion over four years, with a possible three-year extension to the agreements. The framework covers the provision of management, maintenance and development of the UK's defence estate. Projects worth up to GBP12 million in value will be procured through the frameworks as part of the Next Generation Estates Contracts pipeline.

"We are delighted to have secured places on these two regional frameworks. Long-term relationships with key public sector clients remain a strategic focus for our business and this appointment reinforces our position with the MoD, having already secured places on the National Capital Works framework and Scottish regional framework," said Galliford Chief Executive Peter Truscott.
