LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed construction, support services and housebuilding company Galliford Try PLC on Tuesday said it has reached financial close on the GBP48.5 million North and North East Lincolnshire batch of the Priority School Building Programme in the UK.
Galliford said the batch includes two new secondary schools and six new primary schools.
"Reaching this agreement with the EFA marks another significant milestone for our business as we continue to make considerable progress in the education sector. We look forward to working with all the stakeholders involved to ensure these school buildings help provide a first class educational environment for the students of the region," said Executive Chairman Greg Fitzgerald.
Galliford shares were up 0.9% to 1,711.00 pence on Tuesday morning.
