LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 250-listed construction and housebuilding company Galliford Try PLC on Thursday said it has appointed a new chief executive and has made a series of changes to its executive and non-executive team.
Galliford said Peter Truscott will become its new chief executive, effective from October 1. Truscott is currently the head of the South of England operations at FTSE 100-listed housebuilder Taylor Wimpey PLC.
Greg Fitzgerald, currently Galliford's executive chairman, will move to be non-executive chairman from January 1, 2016.
Elsewhere, Peter Ventress has been appointed deputy chairman and senior independent non-exeucive director, and Gavin Slark has been appointed as a non-exeuctive director.
Ken Gillespie, currently the chief executive of Galliford's construction division, will be promoted to chief operating officer.
