LONDON (Alliance News) - Galliford Try PLC on Wednesday said it has been named preferred bidder by Scottish Water on its Quality and Standards IV framework.
The project is anticipated to be worth a total of GBP560 million to the ESD joint venture, which comprises FTSE 250-listed Galliford, infrastructure engineering company MWH Treatment and engineering consultancy Black and Veatch.
The framework starts immediately and will run for six years, Galliford said. The work will include design and build projects under Scottish Water's water and wastewater treatment programme.
"We are delighted to have secured such a substantial amount of long-term business in a key sector for us," said Galliford Executive Chairman Greg Fitzgerald.
