LONDON (Alliance News) - Housebuilding and construction group Galliford Try Wednesday said it has been appointed as a main contractor for a four-year Education Funding Agency contractors framework.
The company said the the framework, potentially worth GBP4 billion in aggregate, will be the primary means of procurement by UK government bodies of major capital works for academies, free schools and the capital-funded element of the Priority Schools Building Programme.
Galliford's building business is one of 10 contractors appointed to the framework nationally, and one of eight named for both the north and south sectors of the programme.
The stock was trading at 1,109.80 pence Wednesday morning, down 14.20 pence.
