LONDON (Alliance News) - Housebuilding and construction company Galliford Try PLC Thursday said it had been appointed to three new contracts worth over GBP100 million combined.
In a statement, the company said it has been appointed a panel member for the North and North East Lincolnshire batch of schools under the Education Funding Agency's Priority Schools Building Programme. That deal, to build three new secondary schools and five new primary schools, is worth GBP47.6 million.
Galliford said it has also been appointed by property developer St Modwen to build the next phase of student accommodation at Swansea University's Swansea Bay Campus in a contract worth over GBP20 million.
Its building business, meanwhile, has been selected as preferred bidder by St Andrew's Healthcare to build a new residential building for young people with mental illness, autism and learning difficulties in Northampton, a contract worth GBP37 million.
