LONDON (Alliance News) - Refurbishment and construction services company ISG PLC Wednesday said it has been appointed to four of the UK's education funding framework deals, which have a combined pipeline of work worth more than GBP2.6 billion.
The framework deals involve mainly school refurbishment and rebuilding work. ISG said the projects under the framework are mostly worth between GBP3 million and GBP7 million, but there is scope for higher value schemes worth up to GBP12 million.
In a statement, ISG said it has been selected for the North East, South West, East of England, and Midlands West region frameworks.
The news comes a day after peer Galliford Try said it has been selected for the North West, South West and the London and South East frameworks, with a pipeline of work worth GBP3.25 billion.
"There has been intense competition to secure places on the UK's Education Funding Agency's framework and we are delighted with this result. Achieving growth through framework and other repeat customer work is core to our strategy," ISG Chief Executive David Lawther said in its statement.
ISG shares were flat at 298 pence Wednesday morning.
