LONDON (Alliance News) - Galasys PLC Friday said it has won a second contract with Dalian Wanda Group to provide its ticketing and membership management services to Dalian Wanda's Kids Parks across China.
The company, which provides ticketing systems to the fast-growing theme park industry in Asia, particularly China, first won a contract with Dalian Wanda Group last month, in a contract worth CNY2.9 million, or about GBP274,000, to supply ticketing and point-of-sale systems to the Wuhan Wanda Movie Park in China. The Wuhan Wanda Movie Park is aimed a children aged between one and 12 years old.
Galasys said in a statement Friday that under the terms of the contract with Dalian Wanda, it will design and customise the entire ticketing management systems, as well as the membership management module to support the Wanda Kids Entertainment Business Management Platform.
It said the implementation is scheduled for October later this year, with the total value of the project, including software services, totalling CNY1.9 million, or approximately GBP180,000.
Galasys also said that it has just secured another system upgrade contract with OCT Group, one of its long-standing customers at the Chengdu Happy Valley theme-park in China. It said the project is valued at roughly GBP118,000.
Galasys shares were down 1.5% at 20.20 pence Friday morning.
