LONDON (Alliance News) - Galantas Gold Corp on Monday said it has received encouraging results from tests conducted on its new licence areas in the Republic of Ireland.
Galantas said the latest field work undertaken in its 4034, 3135 and 3234 licence areas showed strong results from 13 of the 30 samples taken in total. The samples showed between 1.6 and 2.5 grams per tonne of gold, with further anomalous results for copper, nickel, zinc and lead in the prospects.
The group is now planning to conduct follow-up work in the area.
Shares in Galantas were up 3% to 6.95 pence on Monday.
