LONDON (Alliance News) - Galantas Gold Corp on Thursday said it has received encouraging follow-up results to the early-stage exploration work undertaken at its licences areas in the Republic of Ireland.
Galantas said a high magnesium contract was noted in samples taken from the 4034 licence which were enriched by nickel and chromium, while at the 2315 licence area, the company said anomalous gold results were seen and are further supported by pan-streamed sediments.
"I am delighted with these early stage results. Whilst our main focus is on expanding the resource base for our Omagh Gold Property and developing the recently permitted underground mine, these results demonstrate the high overall prospectivity of the large licence package Galantas has assembled and the strong technical ability of the Omagh team in obtaining results of potential importance," said Galantas Chief Executive Roland Phelps.
