LONDON (Alliance News) - Security company G4S PLC Tuesday said it has appointed John Kenning to lead its North American unit, succeeding Grahame Gibson who will retire from the company in October 2015 and from the board at the end of the company's annual general meeting next June.
In a statement, G4S said Kenning, who has over 30 years' service sector experience in North America, including senior leadership roles with ADT-Tyco, Nortel and OfficeMax, will succeed Gibson in the role of Regional CEO, North America on December 1, 2014.
"John brings a wealth of relevant experience gained in leadership roles in the security, technology and services sectors in North America," Chief Executive Ashley Almanza said in a statement.
G4S shares Tuesday closed up 1.9% at 254.60 pence.
