(Alliance News) - Future PLC on Monday confirmed the hire of Rachel Addison as chief financial officer, effective immediately.
The FTSE 250-listed magazine publisher said Addison has replaced Penny Ladkin-Brand who has stepped down from the board to assume the role of chief strategy officer.
In October, Future said it would acquire consumer magazine and digital publisher TI Media for GBP140 million in cash. It added that following completion of the buy, Addison - then CFO of TI Media - would take over as its own finance head.
"Rachel brings a wealth of media experience having previously held CFO roles in the newspaper industry. She has experience of large scale integrations, including most recently running the integration of Local World and Reach," the company said.
Future stock was trading 1.3% lower at 1,362.00 pence each on Monday morning in London.
