Future CEO Wood To Step Down, Replaced By CFO Byng-Maddick

26th Mar 2014 10:28

LONDON (Alliance News) - Future PLC said Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer Mark Wood will be stepped down, replaced by Chief Financial Officer Zillah Byng-Maddick from April 1.

Wood will become a non-executive director. Simon Poulton has been appointed as an interim financial officer. Poulton will not join the board but will report to Byng-Maddick.

"Zillah has made a tremendous impact at Future, and this is the ideal time for her to lead the company forward. I am delighted to remain involved in the business and to give her continuing support," said Wood in a statement.

Shares in Future were trading down 0.9% at 7.68 pence Wednesday morning.
