LONDON (Alliance News) - Futura Medical PLC Tuesday said that recruitment of patients for its clinical study of MED2002, its treatment for erectile dysfunction, is proceeding well, and the trial remains on track to deliver headline results by the end of the first half of 2016.
Futura has enrolled 118 patients in the study to date. A total of 192 patients are expected to take part in the trial, and, once enrolled, the clinical test period per patient is around three months.
The company said that "no serious adverse events" have been recorded to date amongst patients participating in the trial.
Shares in Futura were up 2.3% at 23.78 pence Tuesday morning.
