LONDON (Alliance News) - Futura Medical PLC on Monday said it has appointed Ken James, formerly head of consumer healthcare research and development as GlaxoSmithKline PLC, as a non-executive director with effect from the end of March.
James recently retired from his role at GlaxoSmithKline, and has more than 40 years experience in healthcare research and development, Future said.
"I am delighted to welcome Ken James to Futura's Board as a non-executive Director. As the former head of Research and Development at GSK consumer healthcare, his experience of the development and commercialisation of over-the-counter and consumer products is unparalleled. We very much look forward to his contribution to Futura," said Chief Executive James Barder in a statement.
Shares in Futura were down 2.1% at 22.52 pence Monday morning.
