LONDON (Alliance News) - Fusionex International PLC Tuesday said said it has entered into a strategic partnership with EMC Computer Systems, which will see the two companies jointly marketing, promoting and selling a combined big data and analytics portfolio.
The analytics and big data specialist said the technology alliance will enable it to leverage EMC's technology platform and market reach, while EMC will be able to tap into Fusionex's expertise and know-how in business intelligence, analytics and big data.
EMC Computer Systems provides IT as a service for businesses and service providers.
The company said the aim is to bring end-to-end big data and analytics capabilities to several key industries such as finance, retail, travel and hospitality, and government.
Fusionex said that the combined portfolio comprises of a wide range of big data and analytics software and solutions including GIANT, an in-house analytics software developed by Fusionex as well as EMC solutions such as Isilon and Pivotal.
Fusionex shares were flat Tuesday morning at 390.00 pence.
