LONDON (Alliance News) - Funds advised by BC Partners LLP and Angus Ball sold an aggregate 17.9% stake in Sabre Insurance Group PLC on Wednesday, raising gross proceeds of GBP116.4 million.
The sale, first announced after the market close on Tuesday, saw the funds sell a total of 44.8 million shares at a price of 260 pence each via an accelerated bookbuild. Sabre will receive no proceeds from the offering.
BC Partners now holds no shares in Sabre while Angus Ball will retain a 1.8% stake.
Barclays Bank PLC acted as sole global coordinator and bookrunner in connection with the offering.
Shares in Sabre Insurance were down 3.3% Wednesday at 265.00 pence each.
