LONDON (Alliance News) - Multi-utility infrastructure and services provider Fulcrum Utility Services PLC on Wednesday said it has secured a significant new gas pipeline contract in partnership with energy provider British Gas.
The GBP1.4 million contract will involve Fulcrum installing more than two kilometres of gas pipeline infrastructure for a new manufacturing plant in the north east of England. Work on the project is set to start in summer 2016, and Fulcrum will take on and operate the pipeline when the work is done, adding it to its asset base.
"The award of this significant gas pipeline project in partnership with British Gas is another example of the successful relationship we have developed with them," said Fulcrum Chief Executive Martin Donnachie.
Fulcrum shares were up 3.7% to 40.2 pence Wednesday.
