LONDON (Alliance News) - Fulcrum Utility Services Ltd, the utility infrastructure and services provider, on Tuesday said it has won a major hospital electricity infrastructure project in partnership with British Gas Business.
Fulcrum will install four kilometres of high-voltage electricity cabling a new GBP588.0 million hospital in the West Midlands. The deal is worth GBP1.0 million to Fulcrum.
In addition, Fulcrum has won two further contracts for new housing schemes. These comprise a GBP235,000 electricity and water project for an unnamed housing developer in the North West and a GBP264,000 deal on behalf of Lend Lease, the private developer, for gas infrastructure on a new development in Deptford, south east London.
"The award of this prestigious electrical contract and new housing schemes are directly connected to our previously stated aim of expanding into electricity and multi-utility. These wins are testament to Fulcrum's ability to meet exacting customer requirements and to our staff's outstanding technical knowledge and capabilities," said Fulcrum Chief Executive Martin Donnachie.
Fulcrum shares were up 3.1% to 38.9 pence.
