(Alliance News) - Fulcrum Utility Services Ltd on Wednesday said it has promoted Chief Financial Officer Daren Harris to chief executive, effective immediately.
The multi-utility infrastructure and services provider also said it has promoted Chief Operating Officer (Gas) Terry Dugdale to group chief operating officer, adding him to the board as an executive director with immediate effect.
Harris joined the company as CFO in June 2019. He was previously group finance director at construction service provider Byrne Group Ltd, as well as for engineering business NG Bailey Ltd.
Following his appointment to CEO, Fulcrum said it has started a process to find a new CFO. Until one is identified, an interim financial director will be appointed.
Dugdale joined the company as COO in 2019. He has over 29 years' of experience in the multi-utility contracting sector and has held several senior positions in the utility industry, Fulcrum said.
He was previously operations director at electrical installations business Future Energy Group, now Energy Assets Group Ltd.
"The combined expertise that Daren and Terry have across the independent multi-utility, contracting and energy services sectors will be invaluable in delivering the group's strategy and long-term growth at an exciting time for our end user markets," said Fulcrum Chair Phil Holder.
Shares in Sheffield-based Fulcrum were 0.9% lower at 24.03 pence each on Wednesday in London.
