Fulcrum Metals confirms "grade and continuity" of Teck Hughes metals

24th Mar 2026 15:46

(Alliance News) - Fulcrum Metals PLC on Tuesday announced results from its 159-auger drill hole programme at the Teck Hughes tailings project.

The Canada-focused exploration company reported average grades from surface of 0.63 grams per tonne of gold, 0.70 grams per tonne of silver, 12.86 g/t of tellurium and 17.12 g/t of gallium.

Fulcrum added that other critical and technology minerals were identified at the Kirkland Lake, Ontario project, including 106.40 g/t of rubidium, 841.73 g/t of strontium and 134.28 g/t of zirconium.

It said these findings "may provide further economic potential subject to additional recovery test work and saleability". Fulcrum also highlighted consistent lateral and vertical grade distributions from surface, with a maximum thickness of 12.4 metres, which it said should support stable processing operations.

Also, the company said its pilot plant scoping study is progressing well, following initial site visits in Timmins, Ontario.

"The Teck Hughes assays confirm both grade and continuity, and the presence of additional technology metals within an already mined, surface tailings resource," comments Chief Executive Officer Ryan Mee. "These results, alongside the excellent phase 3 recovery test work announced in February, will help guide further recovery testing and resource work and support progression towards a maiden mineral resource estimate.

"The pilot plant scoping study is progressing well, following visits to assess potential site locations in Timmins alongside Extrakt and Bechtel. The pilot plant is a key milestone as we move the Teck Hughes and Sylvanite tailings projects towards production."

Shares in Fulcrum Metals were down 2.4% at 10.25 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.
