LONDON (Alliance News) - Frontier Resources International PLC, involved in onshore oil and gas exploration and development in the Middle East and Southern Africa, Monday said it began a survey of soil in Namibia that will tell it which further areas of land it should sample for gas.
The results of the survey will take approximately two months, according to Frontier, with the results expected in November. Samples of the gas oil survey will be sent to a laboratory in Houston, Texas.
Frontier, an AIM-tradedoil and gas exploration company, said it, along with Exploration Technologies, from Houston, Texas, conducted an in-field training programme for Frontier's local contractors to learn the sampling system used to gather the soil gas samples.
Frontier shares were Monday quoted at 5.30 pence, down 0.20 pence, or 3.6%.
