LONDON (Alliance News) - Europe-focused oil and gas company Frontera Resources Corp said on Thursday it has completed drilling operations at the the Dino-2 well in the Taribani complex, within the Block 12 license, onshore Georgia.
The well was sidetracked from existing wellbore and drilled to a vertical depth of 2,700 metres into the Eldari formation, with logging data confirming the presence of 78.8 metres of combined pay interval of target zones 9,14 and 15.
During drilling operations, a number of oil and gas shows were observed.
The rig down has started and the drilling rig will be moved to the T-39 well location for starting will sidetracking and drilling operations. On the Dino-2 well, wireline and pressure pumping equipment will be mobilise to perforate and stimulate the target zones for further well testing.
Shares in Frontera Resources were up 0.9% at 0.56 pence on Thursday.
