Fox Marble Signs Supply Deal With Berkeley's St George Unit

15th Jan 2015 09:29

LONDON (Alliance News) - Fox Marble Holdings PLC Thursday said it has signed a deal to supply marble to St George PLC, the prestige home arm of The Berkeley Group Holdings PLC-owned Berkeley Homes PLC.

Under the deal, Fox Marble will supply 900 square metres of polished grey Argento Grigio marble to St George, to be installed in 50 apartments in the second phase of the Chelsea Creek development in London.

The deal is part of Fox Marble's offtake deal with Pisani, which supplies marble to St George for a number of its projects. The order is expected to be delivered in February.

No financial details were provided on the order.

"This order with Berkeley Homes is a testament to the quality of our marble, and in particular the attractiveness of our grey Argento Grigio stone. We look forward to developing a long term relationship with this prestigious house builder and are pleased to have now finalised our first order with them," said Fox Marble Chief Executive Officer Chris Gilbert.

Fox Marble shares were up 3.0% to 18.80 pence on the news.
