(Alliance News) - Fox Marble Holdings PLC said Wednesday it has signed an agreement with Kosovo-based architect and construction firm EBA ShpK to provide processed marble in the form of tiles, stair treads and window lintels.
The Kosovo and Balkans focussed stone quarrying firm said the products are to be used in construction projects within Kosovo and the stone will be processed at its Lipjan factory based in Kosovo.
Fox Marble said the agreement has no minimum order value, but pricing is based on a minimum volume of 2,000 square metres, which the company expects to supply over the course of this financial year.
Chris Gilbert, chief executive officer, said: "This agreement confirms Fox's position as a trusted provider of processed marble within Kosovo and is a testament to the ability of our factory in Lipjan to supply not only marble slabs, but bespoke finished products for installation directly into building projects."
At the end of January, the company had increased production activity at the Lipjan factory and moved to two daily production shifts due to a rise customer demand.
The higher demand followed a decision to start processing blocks of marble for third parties, the company said in January.
Fox Marble shares were trading 2.2% higher in London at 2.30 pence each on Wednesday.
