Fox Marble Secures New Orders For US Worth EUR215,000

LONDON (Alliance News) - Newly established building-materials company Fox Marble Holdings PLC Wednesday said it continues to make progress and has confirmed orders from US customers worth a combined EUR215,000.

The AIM-listed company, which extracts marble in Kosovo, said it will ship a container of its Grigio Argento marble to a customer in the US through its distribution arrangements with New York-based materials business Royal Stone, together with 7,000 square feet of tiles of the same material. This order will be shipped in July from Fox Marble's yard in Carrara, Italy, where the marble is currently be processed.

Fox Marble will also ship two further containers of mixed cut and polished sample slabs to Royal Stone's yard in New Jersey next month.

In another deal, four containers of cut and polished Sivec marble will be delivered to a customer based in California via its offtake agreement with Pisani PLC a wholesale supplier of marble in the UK, subject to completion of a site visit.

"We are pleased to see evidence of commercial traction and demand for our marble particularly in the US market," Chief Executive Chris Gilbert said in a statement. "We are committed to establishing Fox Marble as a global premium supplier of marble."

Fox Marble shares were quoted up 5.0% at 19.95 pence Wednesday morning.
