LONDON (Alliance News) - Fox Marble Holdings PLC on Thursday said it entered a deal worth GBP1.0 million for the purchase of Alexandrian Blue marble.
The deal, with a timeframe of 1 year, is with an existing client who has already acquired 441 tonnes of Alexandrian Blue in December.
The company just started producting this material which is extracted from Fox's Prilep quarry in Northern Macedonia.
Chief Executive Officer Chris Gilbert said: "Orders of our premium material are gaining traction and we expect to see growth in our sales in 2019. This will produce a corresponding increase in our revenues during the year as a result, and l look forward to updating the market accordingly".
Fox Marble shares were trading up 4.1% at 7.55 pence each.
