(Alliance News) - Recruiter Hays PLC on Monday appointed former Travis Perkins PLC executive Cheryl Millington to its board as a non-executive director.
Millington, who joins immediately, was chief digital officer at builders' merchant Travis Perkins between 2016 and 2018. Before that, she was head of IT at supermarket Waitrose and chief information & data officer at Asda Stores Ltd.
Millington also has held senior roles at HBOS PLC, now part of Lloyds Banking Group PLC, Innogy PLC, now npower Ltd, and National Power PLC.
Hays Chair Andrew Martin said of Millington: "Her broad range of technology, data and people experience will provide further depth to the Hays board."
Hays shares were up 1.9% on Monday at 156.30 pence each.
