(Alliance News) - ScotGems PLC on Thursday said Tom Allen, currently co-manager and former lead manager of the global small companies investor, is planning to resign.
Allen informed Stewart Investors, Scotgems's investment manager, of his plan to resign and he "is currently serving out his notice period".
Allen stepped down as lead manager on Wednesday last week, succeeded by Tom Prew, and he will support Pew during the notice period.
ScotGems said that, in light of the management changes, it is "considering a full range of options for the company's portfolio" and "will update shareholders of the outcome of these discussions in due course".
Shares in Scotgems closed down 3.9% at 75.00 pence in London on Thursday.
