13th Dec 2019 10:22

(Alliance News) - Custodian REIT PLC on Friday said it has appointed a former Goldman Sachs banker to its board as a non-executive director.

Adam moved to HSBC Holdings PLC in 2012, where she held "similar equity roles" to the one she had held at Goldman Sachs until 2016. She was appointed as an independent non-executive director at Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Ltd in 2018.

David hunter, chair of Leicester-based Custodian REIT, said: "I am delighted to welcome Hazel Adam to the board as a non-executive director. She brings a range of experience including buy side and sell side investment experience, strategies and markets. This, together with Hazel's strong financial and governance background, will further strengthen our board and we look forward to working with her."

Shares in the real estate investment trust were up 0.4% at 112.80 pence in London on Friday morning.
