(Alliance News) - Russia-focused Trans-Siberian Gold PLC on Friday announced the appointment of Sergey Kryazhevskih as its new chief financial officer.
Kryazhevskih has over 15 years' experience in mining, Trans-Siberian said, had most recently served as CFO at Russian gold miner JSC Pavlik.
He has also held senior positions at FTSE 100 steelmaker Evraz PLC, and Atomredmetzoloto.
Trans-Siberian Chief Executive Alexander Dorogov said: "We are extremely pleased to welcome Sergey as TSG's chief financial officer and look forward to working with him during the next phases of the company's growth."
"Sergey brings a wealth of valuable experience and insights gained in Russia's leading mining companies and will enhance the efficient implementation of our strategic plans to become a premier mid-tier gold producer."
"I am confident this appointment will further strengthen our tradition of prudent financial management, enabling us to continue delivering maximum shareholder returns," Dorogov added.
Trans-Siberian shares were 3.0% higher on Friday morning in London at 85 pence each.
