LONDON (Alliance News) - Cairn Energy PLC has appointed former ConocoPhillips executive Catherine Krajicek as a non-executive director.
Krajicek spent 22 years with ConocoPhillips, including asset management roles in both the US and Indonesia.
She then joined Marathon Oil, managing all of its operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
Cairn Chair Ian Tyler said: "I am delighted to welcome Catherine to the Cairn board. Her strong technical background and depth and breadth of senior management oil and gas industry experience across many different assets and countries will be a significant asset to the board."

Shares were 0.7% lower on Monday at a price of 164.20 pence each.
