LONDON (Alliance News) - Arena Events Group PLC on Tuesday announced the appointment of Chris Morris as the head of its UK & Europe operations.
Morris has over 20 years' experience in sports, leisure, and hospitality, Arena Events said, and he was most recently managing director of Events & Destinations at catering and hospitality firm CH & Co.
He was also managing director of Twickenham Experience Ltd for the Rugby Football Union, and managing director of Sports & Events at FTSE 100 Compass Group PLC.
Chief Executive Greg Lawless said: "We are delighted to welcome Chris to the Arena team. He has held a number of senior executive positions within the sports, leisure and hospitality sectors and is very well known in the industry.
"Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position and I believe he will be a great asset to the Arena Group as we continue to grow the UK division over the coming years."
Arena shares were down 1.6% on Tuesday at a price of 32.95 pence each.
