LONDON (Alliance News) - Digital music firm 7digital Group PLC on Wednesday announced the appointment of Julia Hubbard as its new chief financial officer.
Following Hubbard's appointment, which will start officially "in the coming weeks", acting CFO David Holmwood, who had been considered for the permanent role, will step down.
Hubbard was most recently CFO at AIM member Amino Technologies PLC, leaving in February 2016, and previously held senior finance roles at holiday booking site Lastminute.com, construction firm Mowlem PLC, and cable television firm CSC Media Group.
7digital Chief Executive Simon Cole said: "We are thrilled to welcome Julia to 7digital with her impressive track record in developing technology markets. She inherits a completely re-structured finance team.
"The credit for that and for re-organising our financial systems rests with David. I wish him the very best as he returns to a more pluralist life as an interim CFO."
Shares were 6.7% higher on Wednesday morning at 1.20 pence each.
