LONDON (Alliance News) - Gama Aviation PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed accountant David Stickland as its new chief financial officer, effective from the start of September.
Stickland, Gama said, was previously finance chief at taxi company Addison Lee Group, and has also held financial and operational roles at companies such as Serco PLC.
Chief Executive Marwan Khalek said: "We are delighted to welcome David to the board of Gama Aviation. He joins the group at a strategically important time as we accelerate our strategy, via our recent GBP48 million equity placing, to become the global market leader in business aviation services."
"He brings a strong financial background in ambitious, international, service-led organisations and I look forward to working with him as we continue to deliver our global strategy."
Shares in the aviation services firm were down 0.5% on Wednesday at a price of 214.85 pence each.
