(Alliance News) - Foresight Group Holdings Ltd on Thursday said it expects to benefit from the narrowing of an "unjustified" valuation gap, citing a "strong" pipeline and continued fundraising.
Foresight is an investment manager, offering institutional and retail investors access to private and listed real assets in the UK, Europe and Australia and to small and medium enterprises in the UK and Ireland.
Total revenue climbed 9.0% to GBP154.0 million in the financial year ended March 31, from GBP141.3 million a year prior. Recurring revenue was 86.6% in both financial years.
Assets under management as at March 31 rose 8.7% to GBP13.20 billion from GBP12.14 billion a year ago.
Funds under management climbed 14% on-year to GBP9.56 billion as at March 31, from GBP8.40 billion.
Foresight recommended a final dividend of 16.8 pence per share, up 8.4% from 15.5p a year prior. This brings the total payout to 24.2p, up 9.0% from 22.2p.
Separately, the company announced Gary Fraser as chief executive officer with immediate effect, while Bernard Fairman remains as executive chair. Fraser has worked for Foresight Group for over 20 years, and played a "pivotal role" in shaping and executing the ongoing delivery of the company's strategy, the firm said.
Executive Chair Bernard Fairman said: "Valuations in recent private market transactions continue to demonstrate strong investor appetite for energy infrastructure exposure, supporting our confidence that as we deliver against our medium-term guidance, our shareholders will benefit from the narrowing of what we believe to be an unjustified valuation gap. Our strong pipeline and continued fundraising across our diversified channels will add scale and enables us to maintain our guidance to double core earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation pre-share based statements in the five years to financial year 2029."
Foresight Group shares rose 1.3% to 427.50 pence each on late Thursday morning in London.
