LONDON (Alliance News) - Flybe Group PLC on Tuesday boasted double digit increases in seat capacity, passenger numbers and revenue in its second quarter, but report a slight decline in passenger load factor.
The airline reported a 13% increase in passenger revenue in the second quarter.
However, revenue per seat fell by about 1%.
There was a 13.8% increase in seat capacity to 3.0 million seats, while passenger numbers were up 10.7% to 2.4 million.
Passenger load factor - the number of passengers divided by seats flown - fell to 78.3% from 80.5%.
Flybe's financial year runs to March 31.
Shares in Flybe were up 5.1% at 81.20 pence on Tuesday morning.
