LONDON (Alliance News) - Flowgroup PLC on Thursday said it has received further CE Type Approval for its microCHP Flow boiler product and said it is making progress on expanding marketing activity for the boiler.
Flowgroup said the new CE approval, following from the CE certification achieved in March last year, means it can launch the product to the mass market and extend testing to the production facility it operates in Livingston in Scotland and to the boilers manufactured in the facility. The first commercial installations of the boiler are set to take place before the end of April.
The company also said it has taken reservations for flow boilers for April and May, in line with its sales plan. Regional marketing campaigns for the boiler have now expanded to the Midlands and South East, having started in the North West and North East in February.
The marketing campaign will now continue on an ongoing basis, Flowgroup said, with national coverage being targeted for June.
Shares in Flowgroup were up 0.8% to 31.375 pence on Thursday.
