LONDON (Alliance News) - Fitbug Holdings PLC shares rose in early trade on Friday after the company said its Kiqplan devices will be the official fitness plan partner for Cancer Research UK's Race for Life 2015.
Under the deal, for which no financial details were revealed, Fitbug will provide customised Kiqplans for the 5k and 10k versions of the Race for Life.
"Race for Life is a really important fundraising event, and we are very proud to be its Official Fitness Partner. It is a great opportunity to promote Fitbug and Kiqplan products to an amazing community of women doing their bit to fight cancer," said Fitbug Chief Executive Officer Paul Landau.
Fitbug shares were up 8.6% to 7.60 pence in early trade, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share.
