4th Sep 2015 13:40

LONDON (Alliance News) - Fitbug Holdings PLC on Friday said Chairman Fergus Kee has handed in his resignation after four years at the firm.

Fitbug shares were down 4.6% to 2.62 pence per share on Friday afternoon.

Current non-executives directors Allan Fisher and David Turner, which have formerly held the chairman and chief executive roles at Fitbug, respectively, will jointly takeover the position of chairman on an interim basis. Anna Gudmundson remains chief executive officer.

Fisher was the founder of health clubs Holmes Place PLC, and Turner was one of the founding members of gym firm LA Fitness PLC.

"The company has commenced a search for a new chairman and will make a further announcement in due course. The board thanks Fergus for his commitment and significant contribution to the company and wishes him every success in the future," said the company.
