LONDON (Alliance News) - Wearable technology company Fitbug Holdings PLC said Thursday it has appointed Anna Gudmundson, currently interim product director of the company, as its chief executive officer.
Gudmundson has previously worked as head of services at luxury mobile phone manufacturer Vertu, and has mostly recently been running her own consultancy. Working with Fitbug she has led the ongoing development of its digital coaching platform Kiqplan.
"I am delighted to accept this role and look forward to utilising my previous experience to continue developing and marketing Fitbug's innovative Kiqplan range. This is a highly progressive product in comparison to other wearable health offerings currently in the market and I will focus on ensuring that its ease of use and effectiveness are recognised by end-users and retailers within our target market," said Gudmundson in a statement.
Shares in Fitbug were untraded Thursday morning, shortly after market open. It last closed at 2.20 pence.
