(Alliance News) - Transport services company FirstGroup PLC said Tuesday Imelda Walsh will step down as a non-executive director.
Walsh, who was appointed in 2014 and chairs the remuneration committee, will continue to serve until the end of the financial year.
She is also a non-executive director and remuneration committee chair at Mitchells & Butlers PLC and Aston Martin Lagona Global Holdings PLC and has formerly held executive roles at Barclays Bank PLC and J Sainsbury PLC.
Interim Chair David Robbie said: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Imelda for the loyalty, commitment and diligence of her service to the board over the last five years,
in particular as chair of the remuneration committee."
Shares in FirstGroup closed broadly flat at 114.80 pence each in London on Tuesday.
