LONDON (Alliance News) - First Quantum Minerals Ltd on Monday said production of metals in 2015 was in line with market guidance.
The mining and metals company said it produced 428,229 tonnes of copper in 2015, up from 427,655 in 2014, while nickel production fell to 35,472 contained tonnes from 45,879, and gold fell to 223,914 ounces from 229,813.
Zinc production, meanwhile, decreased to 41,139 tonnes from 55,980, while platinum declined to 31,899 ounces from 34,090, and palladium dipped slightly to 25,196 ounces from 25,990.
Shares in First Quantum were trading up 4.5% at 144.09 pence on Monday afternoon.
