LONDON (Alliance News) - First Derivatives PLC Thursday said it has opened its new Singapore office as it looks to build on its expansion into Asia.
In a statement, First Derivatives, which provides software and consulting to investment banks, brokers, hedge funds and exchanges, said the new office will benefit its customers not only in Singapore but across Asia.
"We help our clients fulfill regulatory obligations for on-exchange and over-the-counter trading, as well as addressing the 'big data' challenges facing capital markets participants," Martin Head, country head, said in a statement.
"Our new team here in Singapore complements the existing office in Sydney and rounds out our capabilities in Asia as demand from new and existing clients continues to grow," Head added.
First Derivatives shares were Thursday up 1.2% at 1,300.00 pence Thursday morning.
