LONDON (Alliance News) - Finsbury Food Group PLC on Monday said it has appointed AIM-listed soft drinks company Nichols PLC's Chief Executive Marnie Millard as a non-executive director.
Millard has been CEO of Nichols since 2013 and prior to this worked as managing director at Vimto Soft Drinks as well as having senior roles at Macaw Soft Drinks and Refresco Gerber Ltd.
In addition, Non-Executive Deputy Chairman Paul Monk is also stepping down from his post after the November 2016 annual general meeting. He will remain as a consultant to the group.
"The board and wider business will benefit from Marnie's extensive commercial and marketing experience in the fast moving consumer goods sector," Non-Executive Chairman Peter Baker said in a statement.
Shares in Finsbury were trading up 2.9% at 114.25 pence on Monday morning.
