(Alliance News) - finnCap Group PLC on Tuesday said investment bank Panmure Gordon has until December to make a formal takeover bid.
The London-based stockbroker said Panmure had until November 15 to announce whether it intended to make an offer for the company or not.
The deadline has now been extended to December 13 to allow further time for discussions to continue. finnCap said the deadline can be further extended by the board.
finnCap shares closed flat 18.00 pence on Tuesday afternoon in London.
finnCap in October said it received a non-binding takeover proposal from stockbroker peer Panmure Gordon.
