finnCap chief operating officer steps down after 12 years with company

28th Sep 2022 15:05

(Alliance News) - finnCap Group PLC on Wednesday said its Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Tom Hayward will step down on January 20 next year. Hayward joined the London-based stockbroker in 2010 as its first chief financial officer.

In 2019, he picked up the roles of COO and managing director of Cavendish Corporate Finance. finnCap acquired advisory practice Cavendish in late 2018.

finnCap added that Hayward helped lead the company's initial public offering back in 2018.

The company did not announce any plans to appoint Hayward's successor.

Commenting on Hayward's departure, Chair Robert Lister said: "We will benefit from his continued membership of the board and the business over the coming months. After twelve years' contribution, we understand Tom's desire to pursue a new direction and we wish the very best for the future."

Shares in finnCap were down 1.7% to 14.50 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
