LONDON (Alliance News) - AVI Japan Opportunity Trust PLC on Thursday said Finland's Finda Oy now has a 13% stake in the firm after a transaction on Tuesday.
Prior to that, Finda's holding was not disclosed.
Shares were flat on Thursday at a price of 101.48 pence each.
AVI Japan only joined the London Stock Exchange on Tuesday, having raised GBP80 million in its initial public offering.
"The investment objective of the trust is to provide shareholders with capital growth through investing in undervalued cash-rich and over-capitalised Japanese equities," the company, which will invest in a portfolio of 20 to 30 small to medium-sized stocks, explained at the start of September.
