LONDON (Alliance News) - Filtronic PLC on Monday said it has received a large production order for its ultra wide band integrated antennas worth USD3.9 million.
Filtronic, which makes microwave electronics products for the wireless telecoms infrastructure market, said the order follows on from and replaces a previous contract with an unnamed "major" European original equipment manufacturer, which was announced in October.
The company said it was the first volume contract for Filtronic's new range of integrated antennas.
It expects to fulfil the order in its current financial year.
Filtronic shares were trading up 0.5% at 5.03 pence Monday morning.
